Pressly Hall Laboratory

Peace College

Raleigh, NC

This project involved the plumbing, HVAC and electrical design necessary to convert existing classroom space into a microbiology teaching laboratory.  This renovated space was outfitted with new plumbing services including water, acid waste and gas systems.  A new heating and cooling system was installed with a ventilation interlock connected to the new fume hood exhaust system.  Electrical design included indirect lighting as well as power supplies to complement specialty laboratory equipment needs.  Because of an inefficient existing system, the building electrical service was also replaced in order to comply with current code standards.
